Apprenticeship Rhode Island works to maximize the use of the highly effective system of workforce development – Registered Apprenticeship – for the benefit of employers, government and residents of the state. We are part of the American Apprenticeship Initiative of the U.S. Department of Labor.

Andrew is the founder of Apprenticeship RI and Building Futures, and oversees all program components, partnership development, strategic planning, and systems change agenda. As a journeyman carpenter, Andrew is a champion and product of the apprenticeship model.

Apprenticeship is employer designed and driven and Amy supports employers in all aspects of program design, connections to education, and launching an apprenticeship program. Amy is available to meet with employers to customize program development.

 Lori works to align the resources of the public workforce system around apprenticeship taking the lead on apprentice recruitment, front-end assessment, and benefit coordination.  Lori is part of the Workforce Partnership of Greater RI as well as Apprenticeship RI.
